Open Call to Artists!
Congress Square Art in the Park Festival every Saturday!
This is an open call to all artists of all mediums! We want you to come share your artistic talents at Congress Square on Saturdays. If you are a visual artist, come draw, paint and sell work. If you are a performer, come down and share your talent. If you are a musician please come down and play some music. Are you an artist in Portland, Maine? Come join the party.
Each Saturday, as soon as the farmers' market ends (12noon) in Deering Oaks; artists are walking a few blocks to Congress Square to turn the public space into an artists market. Everyone is invited to participate or to just see what we are making and selling.
This blog is a place to post pictures of the art in the park event and to highlight what you are doing in the space. All artists who come to the events will be added to this blog and will be allowed to post pictures. This blog will be used in posters and press releases to advertise this event, so please leave a comment if you want to be added to the website or talk to me (william hessian) at the Art in the Park events.
